Do You Hook Up E Terminal On Deka Battery Isolator DW08771 On 2000 Toyota Tundra?

Question:

I have a 2000 Tundra with a Denso/Toyota PN: 27060-0F020 100amp alternator. It also shows on the label Regulator Built In, SIGLinch and IC. I have concluded that this is a SI not a group 1 alternator and doesnt need a sensor wire to the ignition w/6amp fuse. However, there is a terminal on the back of the alternator that has a Sense, ignitioninch and Lampinch connection. Can you definitely confirm that I shouldnt connect the E post from the Deka DW08771 that I purchased from you.

I checked out that alternator, and you do not have a group 1 alternator on your 2000 Toyota Tundra, but you will need to to still use the E terminal due to your built in regulator and sense terminal.

You do not use terminal E of your # DW08771 for a group 1, but you need to use it on your style of alternator.
