Will Curt Front Mount Hitch Part # 33328 Reduce the Ground Clearance of my 2007 Honda Ridgeline
Question:
Will the installation of this part 33328 reduce the ground clearance. I use the Honda Ridgeline on the beach and need to maintain the current clearance in the sand. Thanks!

Expert Reply:
It should not reduce the ground clearance of your 2007 Honda Ridgeline. It will not hang lower than the lowest undercarriage part. Hitch manufacturers will note if the hitch reduces ground clearance, but they usually design them so they will not reduce clearance. This particular hitch mounts up high enough that you will even have to trim the front fascia.
