Your 2004 Jeep Wrangler does not have a factory brake controller port, but you can still install a trailer brake controller so don't worry!
Instead you'll need a few extra component depending on how your Jeep left the factory.
If it has a factory 7-way connector you'll just need a trailer brake controller like the highly regarded Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 with the install kit # 5506.
If you don't have a factory 7-way you'll need a 4-way connector # 118409, 7-way connector # ETBC7, and a Brake Controller # 90195.
It's a little bit more work than if you had a factory port I know, but it's something thats pretty easy to knock out in an afternoon no matter how your vehicle is setup, and once done you'll be good to tow your trailer with electric brakes!
I included a few install videos for you to check out as well.
