Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 Ford F250 with Hitch Prep for use with a Reese Revolution
Question:
I have a 2014 F-250 that came with the gooseneck hitch and the 5th wheel OEM. I want to pull a Columbus 340RK but do not want to use a slide hitch. The BWT 3300 Companion is designed to be easily installed and removed in the F-250 which is very attractive. Is it compatible with the Reese Revolution or is there another combination that you would recommend? I hope to find a combination that does not require rail installation.

It sounds like you have the Ford Hitch Prep package in your 2014 Ford F-250 and that you also have a short bed truck based on your slider hitch concerns.
Using a Reese Revolution would be the absolute best option you have since it would mean that you do not need a slider hitch and you would have the clearance to make tight turns.
Since you have the underbed rail kit I would recommend an Elite hitch since those are designed to work with your rail kit and can work with Reese Revolutions unlike the B and W hitches. For that I recommend the Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30921. This hitch would be just as easy to install and remove as the B and W Companion Hitch # BWRVK3300 that you referenced.
