E-Z Lube Drive in Grease Caps Sizing
Question:
I have a Viking camper trailer [ small 3000 lbs] with easy lube berings with rubber ed seals . I would like to replace them with these caps will that work [ because of nipple height ] .

The drive-in grease caps that are specified for E-Z Lube axles will fit over the top of them, provided you have the right diameter size. Check the diameter of the caps you are using now with calipers to see if they are 2.72 inches. I would imagine these are too big as they are typically used on axles that are rated from 5,000 pounds up to 8,000 pounds with 8 bolt hubs.
At 3,000 pounds your hubs are probably smaller and you would need a smaller grease cap.
