How to Install Curt MV Weight Disribution on Trailer Frame with a Box on the A-Frame

Question:

I am looking for a shorter bar. I have multiple trailers and we have the 15k curt hitch. I have one trailer that has a box in the way of the trailer mount. Does curt sell a shorter bar or can a set of these be drilled for a shorter set up and leave it with the trailer like i did with the old one we had?

The Curt MV line of weight distribution systems, like part # C17057, do have a short-arm version but only for the torsion style bars - not the round bars.

With that being said, I recommend using the Curt Bolt-On Chain Hangers # C17005 instead. These can be installed anywhere on the side of your trailer frame so you don't have to have the tops of your frame cleared off.
