No, the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek does not require the battery to be disconnected so you won't need to install a battery disconnect. If you haven't picked out all of your flat towing components then I have the following recommendations for you:
Baseplate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-52927-5.
Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates # e74ZR. This tow bar comes with safety cables included so you won't have to purchase them and they are mounted to arms of the tow bar to help prevent them from dragging. The head and shank also offer some adjustability to help keep the tow bar level between the motorhome and Crosstrek.
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit will splice into your Crosstrek's tail light wiring to display your motorhome's light signals and keep you street legal.
Braking System: If your motorhome has hydraulic brakes then I recommend the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251. For air brakes I recommend the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243.
Both of these systems can be installed out of the way and give you a permanent system that's ready to go as soon as you are so that there's no hassle of setting up a system every time you want to tow your Crosstrek.
