Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Plate that Fits Reese Adapter for 2014 Ram Factory Prep Package
Question:
Just bought a 2014 Ram with the factory in bed prep for hitches. I was looking at this part which my 5th wheel hitch will fit the inside 20.5 slots but the gooseneck platform I have needs 10inch slots.. Does one of yours fit both of mine.

The Reese adapter # RP30154 for the 2014 Rams with the prep package has the 2 wider sets of mounting slots at 20-1/2 and 29 inches on center side to side but not the inner set at 10 inches apart.
The Curt Spyder gooseneck plate # 16085 will fit in the 20-1/2 inch slots on the adapter. I have linked a video review of this hitch for you.
The factory prep package on your 2014 Ram should have come with the hole for a gooseneck ball. If yours does have this, we have found that you can use Reese ball # RP30140. The Spyder is a more cost-effective solution though.
