Tips for Loosening Rusted on Trailer Hub Dust Cap
Question:
The dust caps on my 1968 Shasta travel trailer are rusted and not coming off. Im beside myself trying to remove them. No special tools, hammer, flathead, some muscle and bunches of tears. Any suggestions?

WD40 will break up rust. I would try spray a lot of that on the area and giving it a couple decent whacks with your hammer to help it start to seep into the frozen area. Let it set for several minutes and then see if it will come off.
