What is the Maximum Amperage Rating for Hopkins Tail Light Isolating Diode System # 38955
Question:
The specs. say max. amperage for the 38955 tail light kit is 3 amps??? Is this right, that is awful low.

The Hopkins Tail Light Isolating Diode System # 38955 includes 4 diodes. Each of the diodes carries a 3-ampere current rating; I confirmed this with my technical contact at Hopkins. In practice this will be plenty of current capacity for the single lighting circuit connected to each diode.
