There isn't a required number of Water Dragon Underwater LED Lights part # TN94RR needed, you can add as many or as few as you want to increase visibility underwater. That said, these lights are very bright as they can push the diodes much harder since the cooling ability underwater is greater. I would start with two at the front or two at the rear or both and go from there. If you'll be installing them along the side, I'd place them every 5-10 feet or so. I'm sure you will be as surprised as I was in regards to the brightness. If you require more light you can always add more down the road as needed.
