Troubleshooting 2K Trailer Sway While Towing with a 2021 Ram 2500 Cummins
Question:
Hi I have a 2021 dodge ram 2500 with Cummings. I have a camper at 1800-2000 lbs dry and looking for a way to stop death roll and sway at 50mph it starts to make truck roll very violently.

It sounds like your camper is catching wind on the highway and causing that sway you're talking about. To remedy this you need to invest in a weight distribution system that includes sway control. Normally weight distribution is only used if the trailer weighs at least half the weight of the tow vehicle but it sounds like in your case there is an exception.
For a weight distribution system I recommend checking out the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37040ET which has the proper rating for your system and comes with a 2" hitch ball that you'll install with a 1-7/8" thin-walled socket like part # EQ70-00-4800.
This system has a max drop of 3" so if you need something more than that you'll have to swap out the shank to part # EQ90-02-4340 for a 6" drop or part # EQ90-02-4400 for a 9" drop. The tongue weight for this system is rated at 400 lbs so if you end up going over that once the trailer is loaded up we'll need to get you bars rated for more weight.
