Bestop TrekStep Compatibility With A 60" Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier

Follow-up question, can the fold-down step be deployed with the 60” wide carriers?

The 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18152 is going to sit 11-1/4" out from the center of the hitch pin hole to closest edge of carrier. The Bestop TrekStep Truck Bumper Step # BE42CV is going to sit directly to the left of the tailgate with a very small portion sitting under the tailgate and only stick out a few inches so you should have more than enough clearance to use it with the carrier.
