Recommend Class V Hitch for a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500

Hello, Im looking at getting a 2.5 inch class V reciever for my 2006 dodge ram 3500 2wd normal duty long bed. It has what I believe is a factory reciever already mounted but Id like to remove that and replace with a new one. Id like for the new reciever to sit as close up to the bumper as possible. Which hitch would work best for me? There are so many to choose from and Im not sure which one would fit my specific truck. Thanks in advance.

This hitch was designed for the 8 foot bed model Ram trucks that have the factory hitch. It is the best option for getting as close to your bumper as possible.
The Draw-Tite item # DT45518 is a class V hitch with a 2-1/2 inch receiver opening. It has a Gross Trailer Weight rating of 12,000 lbs and a Tongue Weight rating of 1,200 lbs. When used with a Weight Distribution system those ratings can increase to 14,000 lbs and 1,700 lbs.
