Will the Kuat Beta Bike Rack Fit a 2009 Subaru Forester with Class I Trailer Hitch

The Kuat Beta trailer hitch mount bike rack, # B202-114, is an excellent rack. Very light weight and it will fit the Class I trailer hitch on your 2009 Subaru Forester. As with any accessory you are going to want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole back to the distance required to clear the rear bumper. If that distance is less than 10-1/2 inches then the rack will clear the rear bumper.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical mens bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # UB01. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wifes bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my sons bike at all.
