Interior Lights on Horse Trailer Being Towed By 2004 GMC Envoy Not Functioning
Question:
I have a 2004 ENVOY and a HAWK 2002 horse trailer 7wire All lights work on the trailer but cannot get the interior lights of horse trailer to work when using the ENVOY as a tow vehicle. Any suggestions on the the fuse or wiring problem?

Many times the interior lights are wired into the running light circuit, have you tried the interior lights once the vehicle headlights are on?
The lights also might be wired into the 12 Volt accessory circuit from the trailer connector. Use a circuit tester such as part # 40376 to test the 12 Volt pin on the trailer connector to ensure its putting out power.
If you are not getting 12 Volts at this pin, there is most likely a blown fuse. The fuses that manage your towing circuits should be located in the engine compartment. Your owners manual should have more information regarding specific fuse locations.
