Will Superglide #4400 5th Wheel Frame Brackets Work with Other Brands of Fixed Mount Hitches

Question:

Do you have any fixed hitches that can utilize the superglide frame brackets/bed mounting holes on a 2011 F250 Ford? I want to remove the Superglide #4400 hitch, mounting rails and twist in pins and use a fixed mount hitch without removing or replacing the current frame brakets. thanks.

We do not recommend mixing component parts from different manufacturers even though it may be possible to do so. The reason is that neither the manufacturer of your under-bed brackets (Superglide) nor the manufacturer of any other fixed 5th wheel hitch and base rails will have tested their components with those from the other company. The result of this would be a combined system of unconfirmed capacity. For this reason we cannot recommend combining towing components not designed for use with each other.
