Recommended Suspension Enhancement For a 2022 Ram 1500 Towing a 24 Travel Trailer

Looking to install air lift suspension for 2022 Ram 4x4 1500 eco diesel crew cab which part would be best for my vehicle I tow a 24 foot travel trailer could you please let me know. Thank you

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs # AL88375 would be the air springs I recommend for your 2022 Ram 1500. These springs have internal jounce bumpers which will help to absorb bouncing and protect the bags during short periods if they are under inflated. This will not fit if you have the factory air suspension already on your Ram. The Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ will allow you to adjust the air pressure from your smart phone in each spring using the Air Lift app. This is my favorite system as it has a smart manifold to monitor the air pressure in each spring while you drive and will automatically make adjustments if the pressure changes by more than 3psi.

If you are only needing the suspension enhancement for towing your 24' travel trailer a better option would be to use a hitch like the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800. This hitch is rated for a trailer up to 8,000lbs with a tongue weight of 400-800lbs. It distributes the weight more evenly across your Ram to reduce rear end sag and will provide you with sway protection. It uses the friction between the trailer frame brackets and the spring bars to reduce the side to side movement the trailer may experience due to wind while driving on the highway. You will need either a 2" # EQ91-00-6080 or 2-5/16" # EQ91-00-6100 hitch ball to match your coupler and a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install the hitch ball.
