I need and adapter to go from my trucks 4 pin flat connector female to my Ranger boat trailer 5 pin flat male.

To connect to your boat trailer's 5-way connector you will need the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter item # C57187. This adapter plugs into the 4-way you have now on your truck and then gives you an additional wire you will run to the reverse light circuit of your vehicle.
