Question:
I have a roll of dump trailer, that usually each bin is at a maximum capacity of 6 to 7 tons. Would it be able to pull that?

Expert Reply:
The Superwinch Tiger Shark Off-Road Winch part # W85NF is rated at 18,000 lbs or 9 tons. Therefore, so long as the load does not exceed this then there will be no issues. That said, there are other factors that come into play when selecting a winch such as rolling vs. stuck load so it would be best to contact the trailer manufacturer to see what capacity they recommend. I also have attached for you below a guide we use to determine the correct electric which, some of which may apply to your application.
