Trailer Tire Wearing on Outside of Small Trailer With 12 or 13 Inch Wheels
Question:
I have a 5 x 8 trailer with one tire wearing on the outside. What would cause this?

Generally, trailer tires wear on just the outside of the tire when the trailer is overloaded on one side, there is an issue with the suspension being misaligned, or they are not fully inflated to their maximum psi. With trailer tires you want to inflate them to the maximum psi to prevent uneven wearing, and you can find on the tire's sidewall.
With a 5 x 8 trailer you likely have 12 or 13 inch tires, so for example the Provider ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWTRTM1758013C has a maximum 50 psi.
I have added a link below to our entire selection of trailer tires since yours need replacing.
