Wiring Up Ultra Bright LED Flood Light 3371492190 in Place of Light that Grounded Through Hardware
Question:
I ordered these lights to replace the Optronics halogen utility lights QH16CTS on rear of horse trailer. The Buyers Products led lights have a red and black wire while the old halogen lights only have a red wire along with black wire coming out of housing grounded on to post. Coming out of the trailer is only one red wire into the halogen. Do I need the black wire on LED? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Your old light was grounded to the mounting hardware so when you install the Ultra Bright LED Flood Light part # 3371492190 that you referenced you could just run the black wire to the mounting hardware of the light and that would ground it properly.
