Picking Out Replacement Leaf Spring for 2016 Northwood Nash 24M with 3,500 lb Axle  

Question:

I have a 2016 Northwood Nash 24m and I would like to carry a couple extra leaf springs. I was given this information by the manufacturer - Can you tell me what leaf springs I need to purchase? Dexter axle part# D3500 5507927 68.5SC,83.5HF,OS,NO SHOCKS Thanks!

So we know you have a 3,500 lb trailer axle based on what you listed but we don't know how long of springs you'd need which is the other piece of info needed. The most common size that most likely is what you need is 25-1/8 inch like the part # e54SR but we do have other sizes too like with the part # e97SR which is 27 inch and # e59SR which is 23-1/8 inch.

You'd want to jack up the frame of your trailer enough that there isn't a load on the springs and measure length from spring eye center to spring eye center. Keep in mind that springs tend to stretch about 1/8 inch once used a bit.
