Will Hitch Accessory Work with Cross-Traffic Sensors on 2022 Honda CR-V

Question:

I just installed your etrailer hitch e98848 on a 2022 Honda CR-V. I am looking to have a hitch mounted spare tire, such as the Roadmaster RM-195125. Will that affect the cross traffic sensors? I do not have back up sensors.

The cross-traffic sensors for a 2022 Honda CR-V are located in the rear outside edges of the bumper from my research so they should not interfere with the installation or use of a hitch mounted accessory like the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier part # RM-195125 since it's mostly in the center of the vehicle. That said, this is not something that we nor the manufacturer test for unfortunately so your results can vary. If they are somehow causing interference then they may be able to be turned off which you can seek further information on in your owner's manual.
