Will The Rightline Truck Bed Tent Work On A 2018 Ford F-150 With A Truck Bed Cap

Question:

i have a 2018 ford f150 5.5 ft bed. it has an a.r.e. LSX tonneau cover on it. If I open the a.r.e. lid all the way, will this tent install over the top of the a.r.e. lid and still work? If this tent will not work what products do you recommend?

You could definitely get the Rightline Truck Bed Tent # RL110750 on your F-150 with the bed cap in place, you just might have a hard time with the portion closest to the cab since the cap sits so low. You'd also be limited in space since the cap is going to prevent you from fully utilizing the space that the tent provides for you.

Since you'll be sleeping in the bed of your truck I recommend picking up the AirBedz Truck Bed Air Mattress w/ Pump and Tailgate Mattress # 341018 as well to provide some comfort for restful sleep. You can also get the Pittman Outdoors Rear Seat Air Mattress # 341029 if you had more than two people camping with you.
