Snow Chain Recommendation for a 2005 Jeep Rubicon
Question:
Will these fit the larger tires on a Jeep Rubicon? And do you get 4 chains in a set for 4 wheel drive??

The largest tire size we list for the 2005 Jeep Rubicon is the size 245/75-16. Which this size has been confirmed to fit the Thule Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # TH01571255 that you referenced.
In a four wheel drive vehicle having 4 sets of chains is preferred, but if only one set is being used you can add one set of tire chains to either set of drive wheels. Some people like to add chains to the front because the vehicle engine puts more weight over the front axle and allows the chains to dig into the snow and ice better. This might be a good option, but if your vehicle is equipped with a limited slip rear end and the front end is not limited slip, most likely not, you would be better off with the chains on the rear tires.
You will want to check your owners manual for any restrictions on snow chains. I also attached an FAQ article on snow chains for you to check out also.
