Is Offset Hitch Ball Needed for 2020 Ram 2500 with OEM Prep Pkg Towing 2023 Keystone Cougar 24RDS

Hi Folks, I have a 2020 RAM 2500 with the OEM puck system and the 64inch bed. If I use the Reese Goosebox on a 2023 Keystone Cougar 24RDS, will I need to use an offset ball in order to have sufficient turn radius without contacting the cab? Thanks...

Since the nose of your 2023 Keystone Cougar 24RDS is tapered and the Goosebox you have on it sticks out like an extended pin box you would not need an offset ball in the OEM rail kit of your 2020 Ram 2500. Worth mentioning is there isn't an offset ball that fits your truck hitch. The ball we recommend is the B and W # BWGNXA2062 which has a handle/release instead of a button or knob on top of the ball. This makes it much easier and cleaner to remove the ball.
