If you should confirm that the weight of the trailer is within the towing capabilities of your Pilot, the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller and # 3070-P wiring adapter you referenced would work great for you.
The average horse weighs between 900-1100 lbs. When you combine the weight of one horse with the dry trailer weight, you are dealing with a trailer that can weigh upwards of about 3800 lbs. Throw in water, tack, feed, blankets and the other assorted gear that horses require, and you will likely exceed the towing capabilities of the Pilot. You can confirm this for yourself by checking out page 540 of your owners manual.
To determine the ballmount you would need, you will need to measure the receiver height of your Pilot. I have linked you to an FAQ article showing how this is done.
I have linked you to the installation instructions for the 3070-P, which include a photo showing where the wiring adapter plugs in.
