Do the Enclosed Carriers of the Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System Lock to Rack

Hello, This is regarding the Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ 2 Enclosed Cargo Carriers - 2 Hitches—my question is when it states that the storage bin can be easily removed to carry into the site, this is great, however I’m wondering what security there is to prevent theft. I understand the siege bins lock with a key, however, can they be removed from the rack itself without the key or are they also locked onto the rack? Thank you,

This is a really good question. So there are two locking knobs that secure the enclosures of the Yakima Exo Swing Away Storage System part # Y74ZR to the rest of the rack which would prevent theft. So not only would you need a key to get into the box you'd need a key to remove the box from the rest of the rack.
