Does Hopkins Agility Need to Have a Trailer Connected to Power On
Question:
Just installed Hopkins agility brake control but it doesn’t come on. Do I have to have a trailer hooked up to see the device light up? 1999 Chevy Silverado 2500.

The Hopkins Agility part # HM47294 should show on the display that it is on without a trailer connected. I would verify that you have the install harness completely seated and that the fuse under the hood of the truck for the power of the brake controller power circuit is in good shape as well.
