Mounting Hole Dimensions for Dutton-Lainson Single Speed 900 Pound Trailer WInch
Question:
Could you please double check the distance between the center non-slotted hole at the top of the winch mounting bracket portion of the winch and the outside/top edge of the mounting itself? Hopefully I worded that well enough to understand what I am asking. I need this too so I can know if I will be able to mount this winch in a similar position away from the bow stop as what I now have. The bottom of my bow stop mount and top of existing winch is very close so this info will enable me to discern what I need to know on this.

The mounting hole pattern for Dutton-Lainson winch # DL15002 has been independently measured more than once and the results are the same. From that round center hole to the near edge is approximately 1/2 inch. To the far edge it is approximately 3-1/2 inches.
