Correct Cushioned Ball Mount For 4-1/2" to 5-1/2" Drop For 2" Hitch
Question:
I have a GMC Yukon 2021 with air suspension. I notice the height goes up and down as it auto-levels. Ive taken multiple measurements and because of the auto-leveling, Ive gotten a range of hitch drop calculations between 4.5 inch drop and 5.5 inch drop. Do you have a suggestion on if I should get Convert-a-ball 4 inch or 6 inch drop for this application? Ill be towing a 1,000 lbs snowmobile trailer with cargo up to 1,200 total 2,200 lbs. Thanks.

Expert Reply:
For a drop between 4-1/2" and 5-1/2" use the Cushioned Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 4-3/4" Rise - 6" Drop # AMSC6.
This will fit your 2" hitch and the only other things you will need are the 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # 19260 OR 2" Hitch Ball # 63845 with Hitch Lock # e98880 OR Hitch Pin and Clip # 37201074.
