Recommendation for Towing Gooseneck and 5th Wheel Trailers with a 2021 Ford F-250 Short Bed

I have a 2021 F-250 SRW short bed with tow package (no in-bed pucks) and will be using a 5th wheel for a couple of years. I also will have to haul cattle with a gooseneck hitch. What do you recommend so I can do both?

I have the perfect solution for you with the B&W Gooseneck and Companion towing setup.

What you'll need for your short bed 2021 Ford F-250 is the B&W Gooseneck # BWGNRK1116-5W as well as the B&W Companion Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3400-5W.

The gooseneck hitch allows you to tow a gooseneck trailer but then doubles as the anchor point for the 5th wheel hitch. The Companion is arguably the best 5th wheel hitch on the market due to the smooth operation, excellent cushioning, and dual 1" thick locking jaws - all of this combined gives you the most comfortable towing experience.

When you aren't towing a gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch you'll be able to get full use out of your truck bed since you won't have any base rails taking up space.

One last thing I recommend checking out is an in-bed wiring kit like the Bargman # 50-97-410-010. This gives you a 7-Way wiring connection inside your truck bed making it easier to connect both the wiring from a gooseneck trailer, as well as a 5th wheel trailer.
