Surge Protector for Trailer With 15 Amp Service

Question:

My RV only has a 15 amp receptical. Do you have a 15 amp plug option or should I use this with 15 amp adapters? Also, my honda eu2000i manual states: Honda portable generators have a system ground that connects generator frame components to the ground terminals in the AC output receptacles. The system ground is not connected to the AC neutral wire. Does this mean I have a floating groundinch as referenced in the FAQs and I need the HU33FR ground neutral bonded plug to go with this? Thanks

Since a 15 amp RV surge protector is not available you can use the # HU97FR you were looking at. Typically you want to match the rating on the surge protector with the service on your trailer, but the 30 amp won't have any issues with your 15 amp. This will require an adapter so you can use the # A10-1530ARDVP.

The Honda EU2000i is a floating neutral generator. You will in fact need the Hughes Autoformers Ground Neutral Bonded Plug for Generators # HU33FR. This will create a neutral to ground bond and prevent errors on the surge protector.
