Trouble Removing the MaxxAir MaxxFan Lift Motor From Roof Vent
Question:
Used your instructions and got to the lift motor with no problem. Removed the two screws holding the lift motor to the housing. Motor does not want to release and I am cautious as to how much force I can use to remove it as the bracket is plastic. Any tips on how to encourage the motor to release? Thank you

I think you may have missed a screw as there are 3 screws which hold the Lift Motor # MA10-20270 in place on your MaxxAir MaxxFan. With all 3 screws removed the motor should fall out fairly easily. Be sure you are removing the mounting screws and not the screws which hold the case together as there are also 3 of those.
