If there's no hot water coming from your tap then you could either have an issue with the water source, the water heater, or the faucet.

First check the water source. Start from the water heater and trace the line to that faucet and ensure that there aren't any closed valves preventing hot water from flowing. Typically there will be a quarter-turn valve at the water heater and at the connection point for the faucet to make removal/repair easier and prevent water from going everywhere.

Next I would check the water heater. Is there another faucet or shower that you can use to see if the water heater has a blockage preventing hot water from flowing through the pipes?

Most faucets have a cartridge in the handle that can get corroded over time and need to be replaced. I recommend pulling off the handle for your faucet and checking to see if it has a cartridge and if so whether or not it needs to be replaced. You may have a large calcium buildup inside of it preventing water flow.

If you're in need of a new faucet then let me know the spacing for the hot and cold water inlets and the style/color you'd prefer and I can get you some options.
