The Curt 24x60 Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches part # C18152 has internal dimensions of 60" wide x 24" deep. Therefore, said item would not be allowed to exceed any of these dimensions if you wish for it to fit inside completely. That said, we have plenty of people who use these baskets for larger items like a lawnmower without issue as they simply prop the item up on the rails and secure it down with ratchet straps like the Ratchet Tie Down Straps part # ETBMB-05852.
If you're looking for a cargo basket which offers more depth, I recommend the 32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches part # PS1040100 which has internal dimensions of 47-3/4" long x 31-3/4" wide.
