How to Determine When Shocks on a 5th Wheel Trailer Should Be Replaced
Question:
How do I know when my shocks need replacement on my Heartland Bighorn RV? Do you have a replacement shock number for 8000# axles on my 2015 Bighorn 3760EL? Thank You

Expert Reply:
Shocks should typically be replaced between 50,000 and 100,000 miles or when you start to experience more bounce when you go over uneven surfaces like railroad tracks.
For your 8,000 lb. axles, we only have one shock option available and it is a kit.
