Do You Have an Alarm For a Manual Parking Brake On a Trailer to Prevent Towing While Engaged?

Question:

I think one possible reason of my Dexter parking brake wearing is sometime I forgotten to release the parking brake when trailer is driven. Is there any simple and easy buzzer or warning light I can use so to remind me the brake is set while the trailer is on towing? Thanks.

While we do not have a buzzer/warning light for the manual parking brakes on your trailer the simplest idea would be to have a tag made you can attach to a Hitch Pin Lock # 2847DAT. Since this will require you to manually lock and unlock the coupler it will serve as a reminder to lock and unlock the parking brake when you connect/disconnect from the trailer. If you were able to find some kind of electronic alarm it will likely drain the battery you will need to install on the trailer while you are disconnected from your trailer for long periods of time.
