First to ensure you can safely flat tow your 2019 Ford Expedition you will need to ensure you have a transfer case with 4wd low. This is the only version which can be placed into flat tow mode and safely towed.
The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-524457-5 fits all trims except the FX4. With this base plate installed on an Expedition with 275/55R20 tires the mount has a height of 20". You will need to measure the hitch height of your towing vehicle to determine if you will need an adapter like the 4" High-Low # RM-048-4. The Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-676 needs to be within 3" of level from tow vehicle to your Expedition mounts.
The RoadMaster Nighthawk All Terrain Towing Combo Kit # RM-9284-2 will provide you with the wiring needed to tie into your tail lights on your Expedition, locks, lube, a storage cover and bag. You will also need a Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to prevent the battery on your Expedition from being completely drained while you are flat towing.
Lastly you will need a Supplemental Braking System for your Expedition. The Demco systems are our best systems we offer as both are installed under the hood and do not require removal like portable systems. The Stay-IN-Play Duo # DM86VR is designed for tow vehicles with hydraulic brakes and the Air Force One # DM26VR is for tow vehicles with air brakes.
