How Much Power Should be at Vehicle Side 7-Way Power Pin

How much current is available from the 12v pin on the 7-pin truck connector? Thanks

Normally we see a 30 amp fuse at the 12V power pin on your vehicle-side 7-Way like the part # PK11893. You'll want to verify with your tow vehicle what that fuse rating is and then you can check the amps at the 7-Way when a load is applied to see what you're getting. If there is a significant drop then you might have a short somewhere in the wiring.

The 12V power pin is in the 1 o'clock position when you're looking at the connector face-on. I've attached a photo for you to reference.
