Equal-i-Zer Weight Distribution Shanks that Fit 2-1/2 inch Hitch Size

Question:

I found this post regarding changing the shank from 2inch to 2 1/2inch shank. I got a new truckF-250-2022 and new trailerJayco TT White Hawk 27RB, 33, 6800 lbs.. I want to replace the shank with a 2 1/2, which part # would you recommend? Thank-you The other option is to replace the weight distribution shank with one that is a proper fit for the hitch so no reducer is needed. If you have the Equal-I-Zer brand then there are 3 different 2-1/2 inch shanks: # EQ90-02-4900 # EQ90-02-4700 # EQ90-02-4800

We do carry all three of the Equal-i-zer brand weight distribution shanks you mentioned like with the part # EQ90-02-4900, which has a 10 inch rise/6 inch drop, the part # EQ90-02-4700 which has a 7 inch rise/3 inch drop, and the # EQ90-02-4800 which has a 8 inch rise and a 4 inch drop.

It would be best to go with the shank that gives you enough drop to tow your trailer level.
