How Does Curt Friction Sway Control Install with Curt Trunnion WD System
Question:
Firstly, great video on how to install, but I need to know how to install with my CURT 17301 Long Trunnion Bar Weight Distribution Hitch, Up to 8K, 2-Inch Shank as I do not believe I can go back 24”? Also, it mentions GTW, but my specs, only Show GVWR 7.393. Will I need one or or two of these? Thank you!!

To install the Curt sway control part # 17200 with the Curt Weight Distribution System part # C17341 that you referenced would be basically the same process as the install video you watched but the small hitch balls that come with the kit would install on the head of the weight distribution system on either side of the center hitch ball hole. There are holes on the "wings" of the systems head which were designed for this.
For a trailer with a GVWR of 7,393 this WD system would work great as it has a tongue weight range of 600-800 lbs.
