Is the Bulldog Square Jack a Sealed Jack and What Type of Grease is Used
Question:
Hello, would you be able to tell me what type of grease comes with this jack and is it contained within the housing preventing leaks? I intend on using this jack on an aerospace tool that will be used in a cleanroom environment. The customer would like know if the grease is compliant with a cleanroom and if it isnt can we flush out supplied grease with compliant grease? thank you for any information you can provide.

The Bulldog Square Jack part # BD182500 has a removeable end cap on the top that you will remove and reinstall to service the jack, therefore it's not a sealed jack. The type of lubrication used is just a standard automotive grease per Bulldog. We cannot recommend using another type of grease to replace this.
I'd love to assist further we but we don't offer any products specifically designed for the aerospace market so I wouldn't have any additional advice for you here.
