Is The Sleeve For The MaxxAir MaxxFan Dome Replaceable If It is Damaged?

Question:

Can we purchase a replacement trim sleeve for this fan? Ours was cut wrong during install and I need a new one. Its the white plastic cylindrical piece that you trim to length that I need.

I reached out to MaxxAir and currently they do not offer the sleeve as a separate part on the MaxxFan Dome Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-03810B. You may be able to find one of these sleeves left over at an installer as it is only needed on roofs over 1" thick. Or you may be able to replace it with a portion of PVC from a plumbing supply company. You will need to take what you have with you so they will be able to compare it with the parts they carry.
