Base Plates Compatible with Roadmaster Explorer Tow Bar for 2003 Honda Element

I have older Roadmaster Explorer tow bar that i would to use to pull a 2003 AWD honda element what are my base plate option and compatability..

Because you are planning on using a Roadmaster Tow Bar, using a Roadmaster Base Plate # 1541-1 is recommended. This base plate kit is fully compatible with your tow bar, I have confirmed compatibility with my Roadmaster representative.

According to my research, the Element is indeed capable of being flat towed, but I would recommend you confirm this for yourself by consulting your owners manual or contacting your Honda dealer.

In addition to the base plates and tow bar, you will need safety cables like # RM-643, a wiring solution to provide taillights at the rear of the Element and a supplemental braking system. I have linked you to some FAQ articles that go into more detail about these items.
