Troubleshooting Vehicle Taillights That Flicker When The Vehicle Is Off  

Question:

2020 jeep Rubicon. 2020 tiffin Phaeton 40IH Installed airforce 1 air system. Rear taillights are flickering when vehicle is off. Drains batteries. I disconnected the green wire on the AF1 diode on rear tailight and it stopped flickering leaving me to believe its the AF1 System. Please advise. Thank you.

This could be caused by many things, but most commonly this is caused by a short on the running light wire.

However, since you did your own wiring with a diode kit, I recommend checking that all of your wiring that you did is wired correctly with your factory harness.

You're also going to want to check your ground connections, and ensure that none of your wiring is backwards.
Finally, this also could be caused by corrosion inside the trailer connector, so I also recommend checking into that as well.
