Differences in the Dexter and etrailer 7,000 lbs Axles w/ 8 on 6-1/2 Hubs
Question:
what are the differences between Item # e83SR and # 8327834-EB?

Expert Reply:
The Dexter item # 8327834-EB is the top of the line option and by far the best choice out of the two. The etrailer item # e83SR is our economically priced option for people who are on a budget or replacing an axle on an older trailer. The axles are similar but the hubs and drums are not as good as the Dexter ones. The brake pads and thickness of the hubs are where you get the additional cost and quality from. Dexter's brakes and hubs are far superior in construction and material.
Both the etrailer item # e83SR and the Dexter item # 8327834-EB have the same capacity, lug pattern, hub face, and spring seat dimensions.
These are 3" round, 7,000 lbs capacity axles, with an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern. They are 90" long and have spring seats welded on at 80". I have linked a couple of review videos below.
