How to Access the Pull Cord on a Thomas Payne Recliner For Replacement
Question:
I need to remove the Thomas Payne Classic Theater Seat in my rv so I can replace a broken pull cord. I have not found any information on how to remove the seat to expose the old broken pull cord.

When replacing a Pull Cord for Thomas Payne # LC381462, the easiest way to get to the cord is to flip the seat over. This allows you access to disconnect the cord and remove the screws that hold the seat to the frame. Loosening the seat will allow you to access the bracket that holds the pull cord in place and install the new one.

I have a 2021 Grand Design 22 MLE with theatre seating (has a small flip up storage between them, cup holders, vibration and heat). The cable on the left seat either broke or got disconnected. The footrest is currently closed, or in the down position. When I looked at gaining access on the functional seat, I lifted the footrest and I can see the seat has two screws, front and back, that attach it to the frame. How do I access this on the non functional seat so that I can actually access the pull cord assembly to either reattach or replace? Thank you.
