Recommended Replacement Internals for 4" Square Tube Jack
Question:
Why can’t I get this gear out to take the Jack apart? The white on the gear and shaft is frost. The legs are spring returns so I think the springs are rusted away. I’m trying to replace them and a few more internal parts if I can get to them and if available. Trailer has 2 jacks, one on each side. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

I do have an option for you in a full replacement but without identifying the exact make and model of the jack, we wouldn't be able to inform of disassembly or replacement parts. Unfortunately, it's not easy to identify old jacks and in a lot of cases there just simply are no replacement parts for them. Therefore, I recommend a full replacement such as the Square Direct Weld Jack part # TJD-12000SP-F2 which has a 4" outer tube body with 10,000 lb lift and 12,000 lb support capacity. It has a drop leg with return spring pin for easy/fast use and comes with handle.
I have attached a full list of options below as well.
